About
Dr. Munir Qazzaz is the Vice President for Community Outreach at Birzeit University – Palestine Since 2009. The Community Outreach Office monitors the work of BZU institutes and centers that were established in response to specific needs within the Palestinian community.
Prior to that Dr. Qazzaz established and managed of the Office of Grants and Contracts (OGC) at Birzeit University for two year (2007-2009). The Office of Grants and Contracts (OGC) is a service office of Birzeit University and, as such, exists to encourage and assist the BZU faculty and staff in their pursuit of external funds.
Dr. Qazzaz was the dean of students’ Affairs at Birzeit University during the period 2003-2007. The office provides opportunities for students to participate in social and cultural activities. It also supervises and coordinates annual students’ elections and provides financial support to needy students.
Dr. Qazzaz is the Physiologist by training, teaches physiology and sex education at the Biology Department and the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Professions since 1997.
